Black Stars Players to pocket $30,000 each after reaching AFCON knockout stage

The Black Stars players will be receiving a mouthwatering qualification bonus after making it to the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16.

Each player of the senior national team of Ghana will pocket $30,000 for booking a place in the knockout stage of the tournament after whipping Guinea Bissau in their final Group F match.
Ghana advanced to next round of the tournament following their 2-0 victory over Guinea Bissau at the Suez Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
After lack of goals in the first half, Jordan Ayew opened the score for the Black Stars on the 46th minute before Thomas Partey sealing their victory with his goal on the 73rd minute of the game.
Ghana will face Tunisia on July 8 at Ismailia stadium.
